here comes the last bit, fellas!

well, it seems that all 'big' events ended up today in Kuching. errrr, not really ALL, perhaps. persidangan majlis raja2 is no more, regatta dah hbs, craftangan showcase pun settled, cuti2 malaysia fair travel pun dah ended..

let me give u few details..

1) persidangan majlis raja2 was held in Kuching bersempena dgn perasmian bangunan Dewan Undangan Negeri Sarawak yg baru, worth of approximately 300 millons msian ringgit! wippy! is this worth it? u decide...

2) kapal berhias this year diadakan bersempena dgn kedatangan raja2. dulu2 time aku kecik berhingus, setiap tahun ada perarakan kapal berhias & keta berhias (usually when Hari Bandaraya came).. but it has been years since the last time these sort of march were done in Kuching. many govt and non-govt companies show their talents in presenting themselves thru lighting decorations... a good time for children to learn about COLOURS!!!

3) regatta is one of the annual events in Sarawak, which started from the year 1984 (either 84 or 85 la kot.. quite close). during this festival, ada macam2 aktiviti. the main attraction is lumba perahu (the long perahu yg more than 10 people have to kayuh side by side tu), lumba sampan, lumba jetski... extra events were held too, like menangkap itik (mmg kelakar!! manusia plak nampak cam sengal..), berenang menggunakan batang 'apong', etc..

4) craftangan & cuti2 malaysia fair travel showcase pulak were held bersempena dgn Kuching's Festival.. meraikan tahun ke-21 Bandaraya Kuching. bkn tu je, mcm2 sections of different functions dibukak. karaoke, kitchen corner, and (with a big and!) ILLEGAL SECTION of the youngsters bercintan-cintun... haih... *rosak rosak*

wah! terlebih pulak 'few' details yg aku nk bagi kat korang tu ek.. ampun.. and again, i will let the pictures reveal the rest...

so many festivals, so little time!

yg syioknye, of course la org2 yg bercuti sakan seperti aku... menikmati percutian dengan senang lenang.. mmg sungguh tepat, time aku cuti gini la so many events diadakan kat kuching..



last week ada konsert reunion AF7, jom heboh TV3, pesta regatta (special edition katenye, bersempena dgn Majlis Persidangan Raja-raja Malaysia), pertunjukan kapal2 berhias etc..

this week pulak, pesta regatta continues (this time, for the public - well, people really standardize themselves, dont they?), kraftangan showcase pun ada, showcase cuti2 malaysia begins, 'permaidani kpg' pun dah dirasmikan... nak dikontotkan cerita, these several weeks are the weeks of festivals!

in this entry aku just update gambar2 dari last week's events - taken during the full dress rehearsal for AF7 reunion concert (masa real concert keesokan harinya, aku tak lalu nk snap2. konon nak mengutuk, eh! menghayati! ampun!) di Padang Merdeka, Kuching and Jom Heboh TV3 di perkarangan Stadium Negeri Sarawak, Kuching.. let the pics elaborate the details!

ponat den! dari kamis till yesterday, aku berpoya2 lagi.. pegi KL & Perak.

actually the main purpose was to attend my ex-collegue's, Nawwal, wedding reception kat Puncak Meru, Jelapang, Perak. sambil2 tu, aku ambik peluang menghabiskan duit kat KL.. seperti biasa ar kan!

korg pegi ar try skodeng www.photoaura.net to view the photographer's work. but i guess, for the time being dia belom up lagi gmbar2 Shahril & Nawwal's Reception kat his workpage tu. he said he will definitely put them up soon. dia mmg pro. most of his works, mmg superbly excellent!!

aku nk tempah dia la utk jadi photographer time wedding aku nnt.. pergh! calon pun lom ada, dah siap2 booking photographer. ape kes???



meh skodeng2 pics kat bawah ni. hakikatnye, aku byk menghabiskn slot photographer for that wedding! made several new friends yg mmg vogue & leh layan kepala, named Sonia, Fairuz, Haleena & Pui Li.. they are studying/living with Nawwal, kat aberdeen..













i went off to KL sabtu ptg. sampai je kat KL, mata aku naik demam rabun babi! ramai sungguh la manusia berbaju 'AIG' merah (mostly!!), berpeleseran kat mane2 je... nape x nk sokong own country? entah lah... alahai rakyat Malaysia, katenye!



sungguh padat jugak la aktiviti2 aku kat Perak & KL.. cukup lah tunjuk gambar time reception tu.. yang lain2 tu biarlah rahsia. kalau aku citer, sure byk paparazzi yg soal siasat aku karang..



btw, congrats to Shahril & Nawwal! semoga bahagia ke anak cucu (spt biasa la, ucapan skema time wedding)..

ngantuk x hbs lagi ni.. ini lah akibat terlalu berpoya2 sampai x ingat nak tdo...
